Hey, there! Thanks for sharing this, it's quite helpful. Looks like it's gonna be a bit of an adventure getting my beloved i3 back in shape. Just curious, do you remember roughly how much you had to shell out for getting your brake issue fixed? And have you noticed any other problems ever since getting it resolved? Catch ya later
Hey! Super glad my experience could help! As for the cogs, no worries there - the brake light switch issue was a user error so it didn't cost me an arm and a leg, actually it was zero, zip, nada! Ever since the mechanic gave it a once-over, my little electric marvel's been running great, no problems at all. Hope you can get your troubles sorted out without a hitch too. Later
Hi again! Oh, that's a relief to hear about the cost. Thanks for the reassurance - I'm actually feeling a bit better about the whole situation now. Definitely looking forward to seeing my electric beast back in action. Thanks again for the advice, it's been super helpful. Off to the mechanic, I go! Stay tuned
Hey! Sure can relate. Had a similar issue with my 2013 BMW i3 a while back - boy, it was a headache. The ABS warning light popped up, but it was a combination of both the brake light switch and the ABS sensor that caused the ruckus. Worth noting though, these problems can sometimes be tricky. In my case, the mechanic had to thoroughly check the entire brake system to pinpoint the issue - a process I'd suggest you go through too. Turns out, the brake light switch was a culprit alright, but the ABS sensor was also throwing a fit. Not gonna lie, it didn't turn out to be a minor issue for me. In fact, it was pretty serious - safety stuff, you know? Fingers crossed yours isn't anything like that. Good luck with sorting it out. Cheers
