ABS & DSC Failure: Town Box Speed Sensor Mystery

Hey there, I had a similar issue with my 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer (gasoline). The symptoms were exactly the same, ABS light stayed on, and the whole stability control system was inactive. Took it to the dealer since I wanted a proper diagnosis. Turned out it wasn't just a speed sensor in my case. The ABS control unit itself was defective and needed replacement. This was actually a pretty serious issue since it affected the entire brake safety system. They had to order a new control unit and reprogram it to match my car's specs.
