2022 Kia Rio Experiencing Parking Aid Issues and Electronic Malfunctions

Turns out, it had everything to do with the parking aid sensor. This bugger can sometimes malfunction due to dirt accumulation, showering us with all sorts of weird signals, malfunctions, and, notably, phantom faults. Hey there! No problem at all. I reckon it's always good to have a ballpark figure in mind before you start any car work. About the cost, it did hit my wallet a bit - the whole repair set me back around 265€. But hey, at least my Kia behaves like it should now, right? As for your second question, so far it's all smooth sailing since seeing the mechanic. The parking aid error was sorted out, and she hasn't thrown any more tantrums (fingers crossed)!
