2021 Mazda CX30 Fresh Air Blower Issue: Seeking Advice and Past Experiences

Blower does not work properly

Hey! I'm a bit perplexed by an issue with my 2021 Mazda CX30, 219425 KM on the clock, running on petrol. The air blower's acting up and I'm suspecting a faulty fresh air blower. Was wondering if any of you had a similar issue, and how your trusty mechanic handled it? Last time I visited my mechanic, it wasn't the smoothest experience so, I'd appreciate your insights before I head back. Thanks!

Hey! I reckon I've been through the same wringer with my 2018 Mazda CX5 recently. Just like yours, my air blower started going haywire out of the blue, not a sound I'd expect from a car so young. Turns out it was indeed a faulty blower motor that bugged the whole system down. Heads up, it wasn't an easy fix! At the garage, they had to do a tedious diagnostic test to confirm it, had to take the dash off, and then replace the whole motor. But the good news is that once it was fixed, it ran like a charm, as if it was brand new. So, don't stress too much. Just get it into the mechanics and let them get down to the nitty-gritty. Just remember, every car has its days, and apparently, this is our Mazda's moment of truth...on the brighter side, it might be just the blower motor and nothing else to worry about. Hope this helps, and good luck with getting it all sorted!

Hey there, really appreciate the heads-up! This does sound quite similar to my situation with the CX30. Mind jogging your memory about the pocket damage? Just curious to know how much that blower motor swap set you back. And has everything been running smoothly since then, or did any other surprises pop up? Cheers!

Hey there! Ah, the all-important question of moolah, eh? So, the whole shebang of getting that pesky blower motor fixed cost me a sweet 365.00 €. Not cheap, I know, but it's all running super smoothly since then. Not a whiff of a problem. Visited the mechanic again after a while just to check everything was still all copacetic under the hood, and guess what? Zero surprises. That faulty fresh air blower was the culprit all along, and fixing that sorted everything out. Our bumpy rides seem to be a thing of the past, touch wood! So I'd say it's worth paying that bill if it means a smooth and comfortable ride in your beaut Mazda CX30. Good luck with it!

Cheers! That's a sigh of relief, not going to lie. 365.00 € is a bit steep, but heck if it guarantees a problem-free ride, I'm all in for it. Respect for taking the time to share your experience. I'll get my CX30 to the garage, fingers crossed it's just the blower motor playing up and nothing else. Here's to hoping for a smooth run post the saga, just like yours! Thanks a ton!
