Navigationssystem is not working

Hey, that's funny! I also had a similar issue with my 2021 Kia Sorento. Started doubting its electronics for a moment there. Turns out it was the wirings that needed replacement, just as pointed out. BTW, if you don't mind me asking, do you recall roughly how much you had to shell out for those cable repairs? And have you run into any other issues related to this since your fix? Thanks!
Hey there! So, you're curious about how much the repair set me back, huh? Well, the cost to fix that cable connection issue between the control unit and the display ran me about 165 Euro. Not exactly a drop in the bucket, but hey, it had to be done. And to answer your other question, since my last visit to the mechanic, where they fixed that poor connection, I haven't had any more trouble with my audio system acting up. It's running smooth as butter now! I guess we can chalk it up to the usual wear and tear, eh? Anyhow, hope this answers your questions. Drive safe!
Aha, so it seems this issue isn't as uncommon as I initially assumed. Thanks for all the insights, guys! The suspected problem with cable connections makes a lot of sense. To answer your question, during my last trip to the mechanic, they ultimately couldn't diagnose the exact issue, which was frustrating. I'm going to find another mechanic and mention this cable issue to them. Hoping it won't cost an arm and a leg. Keeping my fingers crossed that my audio nightmare ends soon. Really appreciate your help!
Hey there, I had a similar experience with my 2021 Kia Sorento. I was having issues with my infotainment system too, thought my car was haunted or something. Turns out, the issue was a poor cable connection between the control unit and the display. The mechanic had to redo the whole cable setup. Looks like it's a wear-and-tear issue with this type of setup in Kias. Hoping this info helps you out. Best of luck!
