2020 Kia Seltos Diesel: Check Engine Light, Black Smoke, and Failed DPF Regeneration Issues

Title: 2020 Kia Seltos Diesel - DPF Issue or Something More? Hey! Been having a rough go with my 2020 Kia Seltos Diesel. She's clocked up just 33,390 Km and has started showing some troubling signs. Got a persistent check engine light glaring at me, and the acceleration is accompanied by some unsavoury black smoke. Seems like the engine's lost its spunk and I've been getting this overpowering smell from the exhaust. DPF regeneration's been failing me too - and exhaust's loud. Thinking this could be a short remaining life issue with the Diesel particle filter, but I'm no mechanic. Last guy I trusted turned out to be a nightmare. Has anyone here dealt with similar issues? How did it go with your mechanic? Keen to hear your experiences before I dive into the fix-it pit. Appreciate the help
