Hey! Thanks a ton for sharing your experience! That does sound pretty close to my situation. Can't believe we might be in the same boat! My Tarraco just crossed the 188,915 kilometers mark, so you’d reckon it's about time for some parts to need a bit of a check-up and change. I got my latest servicing done just about a month ago but they didn’t catch any issues with the A/C then. That said, sensor cable connection issues sound plausible. I'll take your advice to heart and get my mechanic to inspect the sensor. Will revert back with the findings. Cheers for the help!
You're welcome, bud! It's bizarre how these A/C problems come up, right? Mine hit me out of nowhere too, even after routine checks missed any potential issues. And yeah, 188,915 kilometers is indeed quite an achievement for our lovable Seat machines. Given the mileage, these problems are bound to happen. I hope the sensor issue is all there is to your A/C not working. Do keep me posted on what you find. Fingers crossed it's nothing too serious (or expensive!). Good luck at the mechanics!
Absolutely! These problems have a knack for popping up at the most inconvenient times. It's like our cars have a sense of dramatic timing, "Oh, you're heading on a long drive? Lemme give you something to worry about!" Thanks for the reassurance too, it's comforting knowing these little issues are kinda par for the course with our high-mileage warriors. I'm crossing my fingers and toes hoping it's just a sensor issue, because we all know how quickly a simple repair can turn into a budget-busting nightmare! Appreciate your well wishes. I'll definitely keep you updated on the A/C situation. Let's hope it's a quick fix! Cheers!
Hey there, Sounds a lot like a problem I had with my 2016 Seat Ibiza, pretty close huh? I'm no mechanic or anything, but I do know a thing or two about cars. Turns out it was a sensor cable connection issue with mine. I took it to my usual workshop and, after a bit of poking around, they found that the sensor was defective and it was messing up the temperature control. Cost me about 110 Euro to have it fixed. Maybe double-check your vehicle info, like the model, year, and specific A/C system you have. That might help in figuring out if we're dealing with the same stuff. Keep me posted!
