Hey there! Really appreciate you sharing your experience, especially about the heating mat malfunction. Sounds like our seat heater woes are pretty similar! Remember what the whole kit and caboodle cost you to fix that issue, by chance? Also, has anything else in the seat heating system given you trouble since your mechanic worked their magic? It'd totally suck to get things sorted out and then run into more issues down the line. Looking forward to your reply!

Hey! Yeah, I totally recall the cost - had to shell out approx 390€ for replacing the faulty heating mat. Gotta admit, it was quite a pinch on the wallet. But, thinking about the frosty winter mornings, it was absolutely worth every cent. Since the fix, thankfully the seat heater’s been running smooth as silk, no problems at all. Guess my mechanic did a good job on it! Looks like the main culprit was the heating mat which was sorted, so hopefully you shouldn't encounter more hassles down the line once it's fixed. Fingers crossed for you! Hope it all works out for ya!

Hey again! Firstly, many thanks for the valuable insights. Really helped me understand what could potentially be the issue. It's good to hear that it, hopefully, isn't something that will keep giving me a headache down the line if I address it now. The cost, well, seems like a necessary expense considering the chilly mornings. I'll get my mechanic to specifically check out the heating mat. If that's the culprit, I'm hoping it gets fixed without much fuss and your experience gives me hope. Warm days ahead, fingers crossed! Thanks again for sharing your experience and for the well wishes. Stay warm!

Hello there! So, last year I ran into a similar issue with my 2013 Nissan Juke. My seat heater started acting up, sometimes it'd work, sometimes it wouldn’t. Finally, it stopped working altogether. Turned out, the heating mat was defective, exactly like what you're suspecting. After a few tests, my mechanic managed to locate the issue to the heating mat and its wiring system. The fix was replacement rather than any on-site repair, as it was a hardware malfunction. Yes, it indeed was a serious problem because winter is brutal without a seat heater, isn’t it? Ha! But in all seriousness, it wasn't damaging to the overall functioning of the car. Anyway, I hope you figure it out soon and have a smoother experience with your mechanic than last time. Cheers!
