Hey there, thanks for sharing your experience! Sounds very similar to what's currently going on with my Nissan. I hope it's not too cheeky of me to ask - do you happen to remember how much it set you back to have that Ad-Blue tank replaced and reset the error codes? Also, has anything else cropped up since you had it fixed? Cheers!

Hey there! No worries about asking, we're all here to share and learn, aren't we? Fixing up that Ad-Blue tank fault did put a bit of a dent in my wallet, cost me about 1620€, reset of error codes included. Not a small sum, but better than letting the issue grow into a catastrophic one, y'know? Since my mechanic dealt with it, I haven't noticed anything wonky. The low Ad-Blue system pressure warning hasn't shown its ugly head again. So, fingers crossed, it's a done deal! Hope this info helps you out. Good luck with your Nissan, cheers!

Cheers for the info! Yeah, that's definitely an investment, but totally worth it if it prevents any catastrophic damage down the line. I'm going to hit up a few local mechanics and see if I can get a similar diagnosis. Your experience has really helped me out here. Fingers crossed mine ends up being as straightforward as yours was. Thanks a ton for the advice!

Hey, I faced a similar problem with my 2015 Nissan Sentra diesel not too long ago. Like yours, my ride had some mileage, about 20k. Strange engine light and indications popping up left and right. When I investigated, it turned out to be the Ad-Blue system causing the ruckus. Now I'm no expert, but the mechanic I went to loaded the car onto a diagnostic machine, which spat out a couple of error codes related to the Ad-Blue system. After a quick look, he put his finger on a poorly functioning Ad-Blue tank. Apparently, there was a defect causing low pressure, which messed up with my DPF regen system. Just to put your worries at rest, this wasn't a hellishly serious issue, but it needs to be dealt with promptly before it becomes a bigger problem. I was lucky to have a competent mechanic who knew his job. After replacing the defective Ad-Blue tank and resetting the error codes, my Nissan was back on the street without those annoying warnings. So, it might be worth finding a reputable mechanic who can diagnose your car correctly and run an effective treatment. Hope this helps, cheers!
