Hey there, Good to know I'm not the only one wrestling with this roughhouse. Your tale sounds eerily identical to mine - an uncanny sibling story of our Nissans! Thanks for sharing your experience; it gives me a solid bearing in troubleshooting my own ruckus. By the sounds of it, correcting those issues isn't exactly an easy Sunday drive. So, I'm curious, do you recall the dent this problem made on your wallet? Also, has anything else popped up since you got it all ironed out? Been quietly humming along or other whispers from under the bonnet? As for the mechanics, I guess it's a bit like cards, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. I'm just hoping I draw a good hand this time! Talk soon.

Hey again, You're definitely bang on about mechanics being like a game of luck, sometimes! Well, in terms of the dent on the old wallet, it cost me a pretty penny - shelled out 465€ to get that troublesome switch intake manifold control all sorted. Let's just say, that set me back a bit. But, it was worth every cent. Ever since my mechanic worked his magic, it's been as smooth sailing as it's ever been. Remember that swirl flap control error on the intake manifold we chatted about? That was squared away in the same visit, too. Yep, you heard it right. Same mechanic, double the trouble sorted. So, besides emptying my pockets a wee bit, she's been purring like a kitten now, no other whispers or grumbles to speak of. I guess it's worth to properly invest in such significant matters, as leaving them unattended could lead to more serious (and pricier!) problems down the line. Just make sure you find yourself a proper mechanic who knows their onions and you should come out the other end in good shape! Take care and don't hesitate to shoot me a message if you encounter more unexpected shenanigans. Good luck!

Hey, Appreciate the heads up on the potential expenditures. Damn, this rogue manifold’s gonna sting a bit but hearing your encounter, it's comforting to known that it's a worthy investment to restore the right rhythm under the hood. And about that same swirl flap control error, mine also seems set for a second rendezvous. Feels like an old foe coming back for another round. Anyway, your experience convinced me to sort this out ASAP. And yeah, as far as mechanics go, it's a bit of a lottery alright. But, just gotta hope for the best and trust me instincts. Here's hoping I stumble upon a guru like yours who can sort the twin troubles in one fell swoop. I'll update you once I wrestle this beast to the ground. Thanks again for all the advice! Take care and catch you up soon. Cheers!

Hey, Can't ignore your hunch, sounds like it just might be the same issue, which is definitely not a minor one. Had a run-in with a similar situation on my 2015 Nissan Frontier, happened right around 39,000KM. The engine started chuckin' manners like a spoilt brat; weak pulls, jerking around, and throwing tantrums at idle. Lit up check engine light was like icing on the cake. Her heartbeats, the revs, weren't steady and she began singing tunes of trouble with a hissing note. Turned out, the bloody troublemaker was indeed the switch intake manifold control. Mechanic told me it was defective and had messed with the airflow to the engine causing all that chaos. We're talking engine stalls, uneven idling, decrease in power - the whole shebang. Tackling this ain't what you'd call a walk in the park. It required quite some work under the hood, including resetting the intake manifold, getting a new switch, and a good tune-up after that. But once sorted, old girl came back to her prime and has been behaving since. As for mechanics? Well, sheesh, I reckon it's a mixed bag. Some are tops, others sneaky as a dingo in the outback. I was lucky mine knew his stuff and got the job done right. But trust your gut. Take care, bloke. Reach out if you have any more problems.
