Sup! Thanks for the speedy response. My MPV's exact model is a 2011 Mazda MPV and currently it's sitting around 128490 KM on the odometer. Got it serviced just a couple of months ago. Not sure if it's related, but these issues started cropping up not long after that. Crossing my fingers it's not something too pricey to fix. Any other insightful ideas? Cheers!
Yo! The extra info definitely helps. Given the age and model of your beauty, there could be a few things at play here. Since you've mentioned that the problem started after a service, I reckon it may be a good idea to check whether any parts were accidentally loosened or not connected properly during the service. Sometimes, stuff like this happens, no biggie. Now, coming to your speculations about the solar sensor. Though the solar sensor could be a potential culprit, it's a bit of an uncommon one. It basically helps regulate the interior temp, but if it's faulty, it's more likely to mess up your AC than heating. What makes me raise my eyebrows, however, is the warning light that keeps dinging. Could you tell us what icon is showing up? It might give us a better idea of what's actually happening under your MPV's hood. Meanwhile, double-check the wiring harness as I told ya. If it's frayed or worn out, it might mess up your blower's functionality. Drop by your local mechanic or the workshop you trust the most and specifically ask to check this up. I hope this can help you out! Looking forward to hearing more on this, keep us posted! Cheers!
Hey there! You’ve got me thinking, maybe it is something that was overlooked during my last service. I'll take your advice and have the wiring harness looked at, could very well be that. On the warning light, it's a little yellow one in the shape of an engine. I'm guessing it's the "Check Engine" light. I'll drop by my mechanic over the weekend and have it inspected, thank you so much for the detailed insights. Will definitely keep you in the loop. Cheers!
Hey there, had a similar issue with my 2009 Mazda CX-7. I'd say I have some experience with cars. The problem was with my wiring harness. Took it to my trusty workshop and they spotted it right away. Cost me about 155 euro to get it sorted. Can you share more details about your car, like the exact model and mileage? Might help to pinpoint the issue better. Cheers!
