Hey there! Sounds like you've got a bit of a pickle there. My own car isn't a Hyundai Trajet but my uncle has one, similar year. He's had a couple of weird issues like that. Might not be the same problem, but worth mentioning. Anyway, my car just passed the 94291 KM mark recently. Oh, and serviced it like just last week, runs like a champ now. Wondering if you've done something similar lately? It could possibly help to look into that. Good luck! Hope you get your car hassle sorted out soon.
Hey! That's a reasonable kilometre count you've got there. My Santa Fe's tweeted past the 192,000km mark, still purrs like a kitten (touch wood). And yeah, recently had it serviced, keeps it fit & slick. About your uncle's Trajet. Did he ever figure out the issue? What was it all about? Might be helpful for our with the Trajet here who started this thread. Any hint of sensor-related problems or something else? And to, have you got any more symptoms to share other than the warning lights? Are there any odd noises, smoke or bad smells? How about any recent work done on the car? Sometimes the little details could be clues. Hang in there, dude! Cheers!
Well, thanks for the responses! Good to hear your cars are doing well, even after clocking in so many miles. Mine's at just over 182,000 km, serviced regularly but it's been a few months since the last one. I guess another service might be due. To answer your question,, I can't say I notice unusual sounds, smoke, or bad smells. It’s been running smooth except for those blinking lights. As for any recent work on the car – had the brakes done pretty recently, though I don’t suspect that has anything to do with it. I'm now wondering if it might be the acceleration sensor... Anyway, thanks for the advice and for the heads up regarding the costs. Much appreciated. I guess I'll have to take the car in for a check this week. Fingers crossed that it's not a big issue. Cheers!
Hey! So, I drive a 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe, pretty similar to your Trajet, right? I'd say my car-fixing skills are at a low-experience level. A while back I had the same blips with mine, so I feel your stress. Long story short, took my ride to the local workshop, they found out the issue: defective acceleration sensor. Set me back 315 Euro, but hey, problem solved. Just a suggestion, might be something different with your car though. If you can throw out more info about your vehicle like model, mileage, that could help guess better. Cheers!
