2004 Fiat Panda's Heated Windows Malfunction - Potential Exterior Mirror Heating Issue

Hey! I own a very similar car, 2007 Fiat Punto. I faced a similar issue not too long ago - turned out, it was indeed an exterior mirror heating problem. In my case, there were two issues - the cable connection to the mirror was defective and the plug connection on the mirror glass itself was oxidized. To fix it, it wasn't an overly serious job, but it did need some hands-on time at the garage. Firstly, the mechanic checked the continuity of the cable and noticed the fault. They had to replace that whole thing. To deal with the oxidation issue, they did some cleaning and applied an anti-oxidation compound to prevent future issues. Took a day or two for the whole thing to be sorted. In all, it's technically a bit of a job, but definitely not something too serious. Worth every penny, though, as the issue with the cable and plug connection was sorted out neat and tidy. The mechanic did an ace job with the cable replacement and the oxidation cleanup.
