Hey there! I totally get your concerns. When it came to fixing the brake wear on my good ol' Getz, it set me back about 480.00 €. I know, a bit of a dent on the wallet, but honestly, safety should always come first, right? And rest assured, since sorting out the brakes, I've had no other problems related to the warning light or the brakes. The fix did its part pretty well! Drive safe and do take care of that Atos of yours!
Cheers! Knowing your experience has indeed been insightful. 480.00 € sounds pretty reasonable given the peace of mind and safety it brings. No recurring issues certainly sweetens the deal. I'll be sure to get these brakes looked at soon. Thanks for your help and looking out for me and my Atos! Stay safe and all the best with your Getz!
Hey! I've got a 2005 Hyundai Getz, so not too far off from your model. Faced a similar issue a while back. In my case, it was indeed the worn-out brake pads which triggered the warning light. Wasn't a very welcome visitor on my dashboard, I must say. As per my garage visit, they just replaced the brake pads and gave the whole system a good check. It becomes necessary because neglecting such issues could lead to serious consequences for the overall brake system. So, I'd strongly recommend that you get your Atos checked out by a reliable mechanic sooner rather than later. Safe driving!
